New Year's Message From Bonnie

Dear Best Customers,

This time last year, the Best Face & Body Day Spa was busy and bustling, and I was just beginning to plan for the long-anticipated renovation of the spa reception area. The early part of 2020 included a lot of paint samples, decisions over new cabinets and flooring, and so much dust as the restoration began to unfold. Construction completed in March, but before we could put the finishing touches on our makeover, the county announced the “Safer at Home” initiative that forced closures of many businesses across Los Angeles.

We hoped things would soon go back to normal, but weeks stretched on to months, and months...and more months. There were short windows of opportunity to reopen throughout the year, but strict ordinances about capacity, equipment requirements, and limits on approved indoor services made it impossible to provide our usual peaceful and stress-free treatments. 

In the meantime, we shifted our focus to updating the bestfaceandbody.com website and shipping our skincare products safely and directly to your homes instead. It’s challenging to keep any small business afloat during a time like this, but I am so grateful for the many long-time clients and new customers who have supported us with orders this year. I kept busy this year personally packing each box and including notes or extras to express my appreciation.

Despite all the difficulties and disappointments of 2020, I remain optimistic that things will turn around in 2021. I can’t wait to see my entire staff again and to reopen our doors and welcome our clients back to the spa once it is safe to do so. Until then, please stay healthy and enjoy the moments you are given!
